Your use of the Toastly app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with these terms.
Toastly records a speech on your iPhone, turns it into text and translates it live into the languages of your event. Guests read along on a web page they open with the event's link or QR code.
The Toastly subscription runs for one week at a time and includes an amount of speaking time per week, shown in the app before you buy. Speaking time is counted by the length of the recorded audio. Time not used by the end of a week expires with that week.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each week unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current week; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the week ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).
Extra speaking time can be bought as a one-time purchase. The amount is shown in the app before you buy. Extra time does not expire and is used after the time included in an active subscription.
Recognition and translation are done by machines and may contain errors: misheard words, wrong names, meaning lost in translation. Do not rely on Toastly where a mistake would matter, for example for legal, medical or safety information.
Record a speech only with the speaker's consent. Share the event link or QR code only with the people who should read along; anyone who has it can read the speeches of that event. Do not use Toastly for anything unlawful.
We work to keep Toastly running, but we cannot guarantee that it is available at all times or free of errors. If recognition or translation fails, the speech may appear untranslated or with gaps.
